Fonderie Mora Gavardo

Fonderie Mora Gavardo for over 70 years has specialized in  the production of iron castings of medium-large dimensions.

The factory is located in Gavardo, a village near Brescia, and extends over an area of 60.000 square metres, 30.000 thereof are under cover.
The experience gained in more than 70 years of work, developed both in the national and in the international markets, and the research carried out into the different areas enable us to develop with professional competence the following products: gray iron – ductile cast iron (see cast iron datasheet).

Large production capacity

The production capacity, with the present equipment and the available workforce, amounts to 30.000 ton/year, and the whole activity takes place in an orderly and clean environment where chemical analysis and quality controls essentially support the up-to-date and computerized machinery.
The high quality of the product obtained in this way and the equipment’s constant technological adjustment allow the Mora Foundries to meet the requirements of its own Customers, from the small manufacturers to the big multinational industrial groups.

From codesign to mechanics machining

Thanks to the expertise gained with the implementation of specific solutions for very demanding industry fields as Energy and Marine, Fonderie Mora Gavardo today can offer to its customers a comprehensive service that includes some complementary stages of the supply chain.
Today we are able to support customers from the product co-design, analysis of the most suitable materials up to the manufacture, assembly, finishing in the workshop, packaging and transport.

Synergy with companies of the Manufacturing division, Marzoli Foundry (iron casting small-medium components) and Innse Milano (heavy machining), allow to offer to the customer a combined service that goes from the manufacture of the product to the next machining, with a global optimization of logistics and supply chain management.
